We came across some numbers we’d like to share with those who are interested in following how China Mobile’s appstore “Mobile Market” mmarket.com is doing. Apparently they are sorting through 4000 applications for approval so far (Apple’s appstore has 65,000 apps to date) coming from the 17,000 individual developers and 1,107 commercial developers that have initially signed up. Apps are going for on average 3RMB (US$.44) with some games costing slightly more for 15RMB (US$2.19). Read more.
