Like the Macbook Air, the Air Phone No. 1’s big claim to fame is its thickness. At only 8mm, it’s quite a bit thinner (though exactly the same in other dimensions) as the iPhone, i.e. it’s like an iTouch but it’s a phone. It has a 3.5″ resistive touch screen, with a 480×320 screen resolution, built in Wifi and Java 2.0 support. A nice touch is the SIM slot on the side of the phone rather than inside and of course the price point at around USD 129. Bad news is the OS is the standard MediaTek based system found on a lot of the shanzhai clones. Read more.
