It’s almost a year since the mobile telephony standard, 3G or 3rd Generation services, was launched in selected cities in India by the two state-run telcos – Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). However, the popularity of 3G and the subscribers’ graph has not grown as well as expected.
