It's now being revealed that Motorola has several irons in the fire for the Chinese market including the MT701 as an OPhone for the China Mobile carrier and MMarket appstore, as well as the Motorola XT701 for China Unicom, pictured above. The Motorola XT701 is almost exactly the same as Verizon's Droid Eris from HTC -ie very similar to the Motorola Droid also but without the keyboard. Androidin.net has spent some hands on time with the device (in Chinese) and their claiming its even better than the original Motorola Droid. Read more.
