Its no secret that a huge part of a smartphone’s success comes from the number of exciting apps consumers can get their hands on. Apple as an early first mover leads the pack with over 100,000 apps for the iPhone while Google has recently revealed there are around 16,000 apps in the Android market now. Nokia doesn’t get mentioned much in this kind of conversation but they too are trying to spur app development and particularly in China. Read more.
