MediaTek today issued a press release in conjunction with Microsoft. It talks about how together the two companies are ready to break open emerging markets with affordable smartphone devices that going to fuel market growth throughout the next twelve months. I guess there come a time when you know you've arrived on the scene. For MediaTek, that could well be day that the Microsoft PR engine came a knock, knock knocking on their door. Read more.
